Job Description

We are seeking skilled Infrastructure Engineers to oversee and maintain critical IT infrastructure within the logistics and Supply Chain Software sector. This role is Hybrid based in Stockport and focuses on ensuring the efficiency and reliability of technology systems.

Description

Experience:

  • Have worked as a Systems Administrator/Engineer/DevOPS engineer and have a minimum of 3 years' experience with Linux patching
  • Vunerability Management experience using systems like Rapid 7 or similar

Technical Skills:

  • Linux preferably Redhat/Centos
  • Vmware
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management
  • Good Network skills (Firewalls & Switches)
  • A driving license.

Profile

A successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:

  • Experience managing IT infrastructure in the industrial or manufacturing Software environment a bonus but not essential
  • Strong understanding of server administration, networking, and storage systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving within IT environments.
  • Knowledge of system security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Vulnerability Management system experience such as Rapid 7
  • Linux patching skills at least 3 years exp +
  • Cloud Infrastructure experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Job Offer
