Description
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of applications.
- Use of AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, to help automate repetitive tasks, explore ideas more quickly and increase engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
- Ensure code quality by conducting regular testing and debugging.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools as needed.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all code and systems.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Profile
Must haves:
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- React
- AI coding tools experience - ie Claude Code
- Self starter and able to work on projects without micromanagement
- Degree in Computer Science or related subject
Nice to haves:
- NestJS
- AWS
- Next.js
- Experience working in a start up / scale up
- Android / Kotlin development
