The Business Architect will support the design and implementation of a future-state operating model. This role will help shape how the organisation operates by defining business capabilities, operating models, value streams, business services and performance measures.

Description
- Support the design and development of the Target Operating Model (TOM) across multiple business functions.
- Help define and maintain the Business Architecture framework, including Business capabilities, Operating models, Value streams, Business services and Customer journeys
- Document and assess current-state processes and operating models to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop future-state business designs aligned to organisational strategy.
- Define and track business outcomes through KPIs, OKRs, SLAs and performance reporting frameworks.
- Support benefits realisation activities, ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable value.
- Evaluate the impact of change initiatives on people, processes, technology, data and organisational structures.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align business, technology and data strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements, challenge assumptions and drive consensus.
- Support governance forums and decision-making processes relating to business architecture and operating model design.
Profile
A successful Business Architect should have:
- Experience working within Business Architecture, Operating Model Design, Business Transformation or Strategy functions.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Experience assessing business impacts and translating strategic objectives into practical operating models.
- Experience within banking, financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation or enterprise-wide change programmes.
- Exposure to process improvement, service management or business process optimisation initiatives.
- Knowledge of business architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from Β£70,000 to Β£85,000 dependent on the level of experience.
