The Senior Financial Analyst is a key role within the Finance team, providing financial/performance reporting and analysis across the business. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and commercially minded analyst, who is experienced and used to analysing large volumes of data, taking initial concepts/ideas from inception right through to preparing and presenting conclusions and findings to senior management in the firm.
Our client is a market leading and award winning professional services firm based in Glasgow City Centre. They operate a hybrid work schedule and are easily accessible by all transport links.
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
- Capex Project returns, ROI, cost: benefits analysis
- External Market Analysis of Industry and performance of key competitors
- Marketing Spend Analysis - detailed customer return and ROI ensuring all spend is effective
- Complex Financial modelling
- Client / Demographic / Geographic Analysis
- Executive Level Summary reports required for all of the above
- Product Pricing Analysis
- Management of 1 direct report (Financial Analyst)
- Department KPI's, including update & maintenance of Power BI reporting
- Assisting with annual business plan preparations and reforecasting
- Financial Analysis based on monthly Accounts
- Assisting with month end reporting
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
- Strong finance and data analysis experience
- Power BI and Advanced Excel
- ACCA/CIMA/ICAS or QBE will be considered
- Professional communication and ability to business partner
- Team player
This role offers a competitive salary £60,000-£70,000 plus wider benefits.
