The Payments Assistant – Cashier will be primarily responsible for managing, processing, and recording payments within the Accounting & Finance department in the Energy & Natural Resources industry. This position is ideal for a highly organised individual with a keen eye for detail. Client Details This organisation is a leader in the Energy & Natural Resources industry with a substantial workforce. Known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, the company is constantly seeking to expand its reach and make a positive impact on the environment. Description The role will support the cash function including the daily allocation of customer payments receive, setup of manual payments for suppliers and ad-hoc situations on bank portal and any other activities relevant to the cash function. Managing and processing all payments and transactions. Recording payment data and maintaining accurate financial records. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports. Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure all financial operations run smoothly. Identifying and implementing improvements to payment processes. Adhering to all financial regulations and company policies. Assisting with other financial tasks as needed. Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
