The Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer will need:
- Review of tender specifications
- Creating and checking of tender documentation including drawings, specifications, parts lists, and technical descriptions.
- Technical coordination of vendors for sub-contractor parts/services.
- Project planning and technical support of commercial discussions with Customers and suppliers.
- Provide technical support during rotating equipment and gas turbine overhaul
- Preparing installation procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
- Develop Models, drawings and specifications for a wide range of rotating equipment and gas turbine component parts and assemblies.
- Respond to both internal and external technical enquiries.
- Review and action production concession requests and non-conformance reports.
- Respond to repair process and development issues.
- Conduct RCA's in conjunction with field and customer representatives.
- Site surveys as required.
A successful Rotating Equipment Engineer should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with rotating equipment within the energy & natural resources industry.
- Ideally knowledge of Industrial Gas Turbines
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance and repair processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
