Description
- Manage and optimise daily operations within the engineering and process/manufacturing department.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Reviewing external contractors to make sure they are working to strict SLA's and commercials.
- Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and priorities.
- Analyse performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
- Oversee resource allocation and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide leadership and support to team members as required.
Profile
A successful Operations Manager should have:
- Experience in managing operations in an engineering or manufacturing context.
- Proven experience working in Energy from Waste, Recycling, Power Plant or Industrial backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of operational processes and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong commercial experience needed.
Job Offer
- Salary between Β£70,000 and Β£90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
