My client is a well-established university seeking an experienced Project Manager. The role involves implementing a new Student Record System. It is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Your New Role:
- Manage the client’s capabilities as projects.
- Set up and lead key meetings such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth kickoff, alignment sessions, and workshops.
- Collaborate with SMEs and core team members to ensure timely, budgeted, and high-quality deliverables.
- Work with Business Analysts to follow the adopt not adapt principle, mapping requirements as needed.
- Assist the existing Project and Programme Managers in following the overall implementation plan, setting up work packages in JIRA, and communicating issues.
- Resolve issues at ground level with stakeholders.
- Present updates and reports at the monthly programme board and stakeholder briefings.
