Description

  • Install, commission, set up and test water filtration and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Carry out site inspections, fault-finding and condition surveys, producing reports to support quotations and project delivery.
  • Interpret technical instructions and documentation using mobile electronic devices.
  • Work safely in challenging environments, including confined spaces, at height and outdoors on wastewater sites.
  • Travel regularly with overnight stays and undertake occasional workshop-based work.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians and other trades.

Profile

A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:

  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Level 3 City & Guilds Qualified.
  • Completed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
