The role of the Maintenance Planner is to ensure maintenance work is well planned and coordinated to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and meet safety and quality standards, while supporting the Engineering Manager for site.

Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.

Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure maintenance tasks are executed efficiently.

Monitor and update maintenance records, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Manage work orders, spare parts, and resource allocation through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.

Liaise with suppliers to procure necessary parts and materials for scheduled maintenance.

Analyse maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Work closely with production teams to align maintenance plans with operational needs.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and HSE teams to prioritise maintenance tasks in line with operational and safety requirements.

The successful candidate will:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance Engineering or Planning role ideally within a fast paced FMCG environment.
  • Degree educated in relevant discipline.
