Michael Page Finance are supporting a growing business in Leeds on their search for a Head of Finance. This is a key senior position where you'll drive performance, oversee financial reporting, manage cash and working capital, support investment and M&A activity, and lead a high‑performing finance function while delivering clear, data‑driven insight to support business growth. This is a high growth organisation based in Leeds, known for its commitment to excellence and innovation. The Head of Finance position will be a key figure in the business, regularly liaising with board‑level stakeholders and influencing business direction and success.

Description In this Head of Finance position based in Leeds, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the preparation and presentation of monthly management information and board reporting, delivering clear insights and recommendations.
  • Taking ownership of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimisation across the group.
  • Providing strategic financial support to directors, including decision‑making on investments, growth initiatives, and capital deployment.
  • Delivering robust financial analysis (budgets, forecasts, variance and ratio analysis) to enhance business performance.
  • Supporting acquisition activity and growth opportunities, including financial modelling, due diligence, and post‑deal performance tracking.
  • Overseeing and developing the finance function, ensuring strong controls, efficient processes, and continuous improvement.

Profile Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Proven experience in a senior finance role within the property industry or a high growth environment. Strong technical knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles. Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a finance team. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. A proactive approach to driving improvements and delivering results.
