As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide variety of plant machinery used in recycling operations, with a focus on reactive and planned preventive maintenance. Client Details: My client is a specialist recycling and reuse company focusing on Electrical Waste and Electronic Equipment. They pride themselves on innovative recycling solutions, ensuring environmental sustainability through efficient waste management.
Description:
- Perform reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates at optimal performance levels.
- Overhaul, adapt, and carry out improvements on existing machinery.
- Mechanically biased role with some electrical work involved.
- Replace bearings, inspect compressors, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain and repair equipment including conveyors, pipework, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding tasks.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the plant and suggest new methods and procedures.
- Complete all documentation to a high standard.
- Carry out basic facility and site service maintenance as needed.
- Ensure effective teamwork and adopt a flexible, first-time-right approach.
12 hour shifts - 24/7 Operation, 4 on 4 off shift pattern 6-6 days.
Profile: Mechanical bias with Level 3 qualification or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year mechanical experience is required.
