Description: As the Distribution Centre Manager you will:
- Oversee the daily operations of the distribution centre in West Yorkshire, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team to achieve operational goals, as the operation is experiencing significant growth.
- Manage inventory control procedures to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
- Ensure the supply chain is able to grow with site demands.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational workflows and reduce costs.
- Review capacity and work with stakeholders to ensure investment projects happen in a timely manner to enable growth (this will include headcount increase, training, systems development, facilities review, automation viability, expansion).
Profile: A proven track record managing a busy warehouse / DC through growth, and ensuring the operation can scale in line with growing sales. Comprehensive knowledge of distribution centre operations and inventory management. Proven leader managing teams through growth providing training and development. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise processes and resolve challenges. Ability to balance operational and strategy priorities to future proof the site.
