Radius Systems seeks a Business Intelligence & Data Manager to build and lead a scalable BI function that delivers high‑quality insights across the business. This hands‑on, high‑impact role involves taking ownership of data, reporting, and analytics—transforming multiple data sources into a single, trusted source of truth and delivering clear, actionable insight to senior stakeholders. The role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the BI function from the ground up in a growing organisation and to influence how data is used across the business. In addition, the Business Intelligence & Data Manager will be responsible for master data management and for delivering a master data strategy supported by clear governance, policies, and practices to ensure disciplined data capture and usage. Key Responsibilities * Creation and ownership of the BI model, dashboards and data, consolidating output from multiple data sources, including ERP, MES, Excel, and other systems. * Develop the architecture required to build a single source of truth that provides the data model for all analytics. * Establish and lead master data management practices, working with senior stakeholders to create a robust master data strategy, define data quality rules, and own the standards for data governance. * Define and own core KPIs to report, conducting regular reviews to ensure KPIs remain relevant. * Drive adoption of dashboards across senior leadership and managers, reducing manual reporting through automation and standardisation. * Provide insight‑led recommendations that influence commercial and operational decisions. * Partner with the sales and commercial team to provide them with visibility, insight, and control over the sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, sales target attainment, and sales productivity, while guiding them in the identification of risks and opportunities. * Work closely with IT to leverage existing systems such as Syspro and Qlikview, and automate data pipelines and reporting processes. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, in Business Intelligence, Analytics or business reporting. * Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on analytics in a quantitative subject such as business administration, computer science or data analytics. * Advanced SQL skills, a strong working knowledge of Power Query and ETL processes, and advanced Excel skills. * Good working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent, and data visualisation techniques. * Demonstrable end‑to‑end experience of gathering and organising data to develop and deliver BI solutions and dashboards. * Experience providing business‑wide support, particularly with sales and/or commercial teams. * Ability to manage stakeholders, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Good critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to understand complicated information, distil it, and make it understandable for stakeholders. * Strong presentation and communication abilities, able to translate technical outputs into business language. * Pragmatic approach with experience in growing less‑structured organisations. * Experience gained in a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
