We are seeking a highly strategic Senior Director, Store Development with a passion for retail and a track record of delivering high-quality retail environments. This role will oversee the development and execution of the company's retail presence and franchise partners in London and EMEA.

Description:

  • Responsible for overall management of construction, real estate, store design & facilities for all existing and new store build outs in EMEA.
  • Leading and developing the store expansion strategy and implementation for EMEA from the expansion of new stores to remodeling of the existing store network across owned and franchise channels.
  • Lead the store development process from inception to completion.
  • Negotiate all cost pricing with vendors for cost controls involved in store build outs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless store openings.
  • Develop and implement strategies for store design and layout.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for store development projects.
  • Oversee the selection and management of external vendors and contractors.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards in all store environments.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the store development team.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate store performance post-opening.
  • Act as a mentor and provide leadership training and guidance to design, construction, and real estate team members.
  • Liaise with International market counterparts in NA, China and APAC to accelerate learnings in region.

Profile: A successful Senior Director, Store Development should have:

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in store development.
  • Experience within apparel retailers.
  • Experience in retail construction is a must.
  • A passion for design, building and real estate.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Experience in managing external vendors and contractors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality retail environments.
  • Must be versatile and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Be able to deal with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Has the ability to communicate complex issues in laymen's terms.
  • Adept in cost-control management.
