My client is seeking a Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) to join their London based sales team. The successful candidate would be responsible for growing private label in national grocers.

This is an opportunity to work with a well-established organisation within the FMCG industry. The company operates as part of a large organisation and is known for its commitment to high-quality products and strong market presence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and expand strategic relationships across your account base, engaging with buyers and key decision-makers.
  • Gain deep insight into each account's strategy and operations to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the company business model, including branded and private label propositions.
  • Create and execute tailored commercial plans to drive Gross Sales Value (GSV) and volume growth.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals that align with commercial objectives and financial constraints.
  • Align cross-functional teams (supply, marketing, finance, NPD, operations) to deliver unified commercial execution.
  • Challenge internal and external norms to drive smarter, faster decision-making.
  • Translate strategic thinking into hands-on execution with measurable results.
Profile:
  • Experience managing Asda preferred.
  • Experience working with private label preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the current grocery landscape and trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • The ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Able to be in London 3 days a week.
Job Offer:
