An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to join the fashion team at a leading retailer based in London. The successful candidate will help drive the product strategy, manage stock levels, and contribute to the development of the wider merchandising team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily and weekly sales reporting, assist with weekly trade analysis, and identify key opportunities and risks.
- Update Weekly Sales Summary Insights (WSSIs) and line card data on a weekly basis, while supporting the senior merchandiser with forecasting.
- Collaborate with the buying team and suppliers to manage the critical path.
- Update the delivery schedule and forecast business intake.
- Manage the team of Merchandiser Associates (MAAs), coordinating with the warehouse on intake, the e-commerce team on product launches, and the marketing team on product priorities.
- Work with the senior merchandiser to identify and implement promotions and markdowns.
Profile:
- Excellent excel skills and experience with line cards, WSSIs, trade reporting and forecasting.
- Experience working within a fast-paced trading environment.
- An understanding of product, fashion retail environments and a passion for data and numbers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Accuracy and attention to detail related to product, process, and systems.
- Excellent numerical, written & verbal communication skills.
