- Administering HMO licensing, monitoring compliance with licence conditions, and investigating unlicensed properties.
- Specifying, monitoring, and verifying remedial works to ensure housing hazards are reduced or removed to acceptable standards.
- Assessing eligibility for housing grants and loans, advising applicants, and monitoring approved works in line with legislation and council policy.
