We're looking for an experienced Repairs Operations Manager to join a local Housing Provider on an interim basis for 6-9 months and oversee the day to day repairs operations covering Chesterfield to Northampton (Predominantly Derby & Leicester).

Our client is a leading housing provider in the Midlands, and are very passionate about delivering outstanding service to their customers/tenants.

Description

  • Manage 6 supervisors and their operatives across various locations.
  • Oversee reactive repairs and ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Focus on tenant satisfaction and meeting consumer standards.
  • Ensure KPIs and performance targets are met, with a strong focus on results.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring that projects stay within financial constraints.
  • Use data and Power BI for performance tracking and reporting.

Role Flexibility:

2-3 days per week in the office with flexibility for home working and site visits as required. Locations span across Chesterfield to Northampton, with the majority of work based in Derby and Leicester.

Profile

  • Experience in managing reactive repairs from either DLO or contractor backgrounds.
  • Strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage teams and drive performance.
  • Familiarity with tenant satisfaction metrics and consumer standards.
  • Excellent ability to work with budgets and KPIs to improve operational outcomes.
