We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Energy Efficiency Surveyor for a temporary assignment within a busy public sector organisation in Bromsgrove/Redditch. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring all construction projects are carried out in accordance with the necessary guidelines and standards.
Our client is a medium-sized public sector organisation based in Bromsgrove/Redditch. They are committed to providing excellent service to the community and are involved in a range of construction projects across the borough.
Description
- Survey and assess residential social housing to identify improvement opportunities (e.g. insulation, glazing, heating upgrades)
- Produce retrofit assessments in line with PAS2035 standards
- EPC and Stock Surveys
- Experienced within retrofit in social housing
- Support the delivery of funded programmes (e.g. SHDF, ECO, LAD)
- Carry out EPCs and energy modelling using approved tools/software
- Advise tenants and internal teams on energy efficiency measures and potential outcomes
- Work with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to monitor project delivery and performance
- Ensure compliance with statutory and funding requirements, including MEES and Net Zero targets
Profile
- A successful Building Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or an energy related field.
- Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA); Retrofit Assessor/Coordinator desirable
- Proven experience in the construction industry, preferably within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations and health and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software.
Job Offer
