- Experience as a Fire Safety Surveyor or Building Surveyor in a maintenance or housing environment.
- NEBOSH Fire or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Experience managing contractors and inspecting works.
- Knowledge of building regulations, construction defects, fire safety standards and contract management.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, IFE or a similar professional body is desirable but not essential.
