The Head of Warehousing will oversee all warehousing operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance within the logistics department. This role is based in West Yorkshire and requires strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence whilst maintaining and building team engagement.

As Head of Warehousing, you will:
- Review existing infrastructure to determine if the footprint best serves both internal and external customers and performs on efficiency, cost, and future capacity.
- Assess systems to ensure the current platform supports inbound and outbound operations, including an Ecom operation.
- Map out processes in the most efficient manner and identify opportunities to automate and remove transactional (non-value add) tasks.
- Evaluate team skills to ensure capability to operate in a different way and raise performance, including identifying training needs and succession plans.
- With the support of senior leadership, reshape the warehousing operations to build service levels, control costs, and enable growth.
- Ensure compliance and health and safety are at the centre of all decisions.
- Manage and lead a team, providing clear direction and support to build engagement and performance.
A successful Head of Warehousing should have:
- Proven expertise in warehouse management and the ability to demonstrate consolidation of operations or building capacity.
- Knowledge of Ecom fulfilment, as well as retail store replenishment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams through change.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership capabilities to sell investment plans, operational change requirements, and enhance the function's performance.
