Our client is a fast-growing eCommerce business based in Nottingham, specialising in delivering high-quality products directly to customers across the UK. As they scale their operations, they're seeking a highly organised and experienced Senior Stock Controller to manage and optimise their inventory processes, ensuring product availability while minimising waste and costs.
Description- Oversee and manage all stock control activities, including incoming stock, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
- Maintain and improve stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Analyse stock levels and sales trends to forecast demand and recommend stock replenishment.
- Work closely with Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth stock flow.
- Identify and address inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead inventory reporting, providing regular updates and insights to the senior management team.
- Optimise stock holding to balance availability and working capital.
- Support system implementations or upgrades related to inventory management.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (if applicable) to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Mentor and support the junior stock controller.
