This role will be responsible for building, implementing and leading transformation for the operations teams. Our client is a global aviation services company. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and an analytical mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Improve operational efficiency by utilizing decision support systems.
- Communicate and ensure compliance with internal and external policies, legal guidelines, and labour laws.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers, authorities, and stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and develop resource planning teams, focusing on performance and succession planning.
- Support sustainability initiatives by optimizing resources and contributing to energy and emissions reduction goals.
- Ensure safe and secure operations across all areas.
The successful candidate would have:
- Proven track record in resource optimization in a labour-intensive business.
- Experience working across multiple product lines and geographic business units.
- Direct P&L responsibility for a similar-sized, complex business, with financial knowledge in labour costs, fleet costs, and forecasting.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to travel, hold a UK driving license, and obtain security clearance.
