We're seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to shape strategy, drive value and support organisational direction. As Procurement Manager, you'll work closely with the CFO on medium-term planning, lead procurement and category strategies, ensure compliance, and balance cost efficiency with quality.

This is a Not-for-Profit organisation. They are a medium-sized entity focused on delivering exceptional service while maintaining efficient procurement and supply chain operations.

Description

  • Work in partnership with the CFO to design and deliver a medium-term plan for procurement, setting strategic direction and priorities.
  • Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies that align with organisational goals and budgets.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify cost-saving and value-enhancing opportunities.
  • Develop and manage category strategies across major spend areas to ensure effective, sustainable and value-for-money sourcing.
  • Oversee the full end-to-end procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen procurement policies, processes and procedures to support business resilience and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance to support accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control activities.
  • Review, negotiate and manage contract terms to mitigate commercial risk.
  • Support stakeholders with supplier performance reviews, helping to build capability across the organisation.

Profile

  • Proven procurement experience, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement legislation, compliance requirements and best practice.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Job Offer

  • Competitive daily rate between GBP500 and GBP600, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working pattern - 2/3 days on-site.
  • Immediate start.
