Description
- Lead procurement and contracting activities across a strategic transformation programme.
- Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts and Statements of Work (SoWs).
- Manage commercial relationships with key suppliers, ensuring strong performance and value delivery.
- Drive cost savings and commercial improvements through procurement initiatives and contract renewals.
- Lead end-to-end tender exercises, including supplier evaluation, selection, and contract award.
- Support the implementation of a new procurement and contract management system.
- Provide commercial and procurement expertise to stakeholders across the business.
Profile
A successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a Procurement Manager or similar commercial role.
- Strong contract and supplier management experience.
- Public sector or experience working within not-for-profit organisations.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrable experience working with legal teams to execute commercial agreements and SoWs.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on delivering value for money and managing risk.
- CIPS qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
Job Offer
- Daily rate of Β£500 - Β£650 dependent on the level of experience and background.
- Temporary position within the public sector / not-for-profit space.
- 4 month contract with potential to extend.
- Opportunity to work in London.
