Description

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for the Place category.
• Manage the tendering process, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.

• Provide advice and guidance on procurement policies and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Prepare reports and updates for senior management as required.
• Ensure procurement activities align with the council's financial and strategic goals.

Profile

A successful Interim Category Manager - Place should have:

• Experience in procurement and contract management within the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and policies.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• The ability to analyse data and develop procurement strategies.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer

• Daily rate of £450 to £500, dependent on the level of experience.
