Description
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across multiple projects.
- Accelerate procurement timelines to support business-critical requirements.
- Develop procurement strategies, business cases and approvals documentation.
- Produce tender documentation, manage clarifications, coordinate evaluations and support contract award decisions.
- Engage with stakeholders to define and refine procurement requirements, ensuring consideration of whole-life costs and operational needs.
- Provide commercial advice and guidance to stakeholders across business, finance, legal and technical functions.
- Manage framework call-offs, contract variations and change control processes.
- Ensure compliance with public procurement legislation, governance requirements and transparency obligations.
- Publish procurement and contract award notices where required.
- Support procurement governance processes and present recommendations to senior stakeholders and approval boards.
- Manage a varied portfolio of procurement projects, often handling 15-20 concurrent procurements.
Profile
- Significant experience in procurement, sourcing or contract management delivering complex commercial solutions.
- Strong understanding and practical application of:
- Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015
- Procurement Act 2023
- Public sector procurement principles and governance requirements
