Description
What the main responsibilities of the strategic Procurement Manager will look like:
- Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies.
- · Drive cost analysis and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- · Create and apply effective negotiation strategies.
- · Conduct scenario-based analysis, benchmarking, and market research.
- · Anticipate supplier power shifts and optimize sourcing processes.
- · Support budget development and management.
- § Deliver GNFR procurement savings targets.
- · Manage supplier contracts, KPIs, and SLAs.
- · Lead and develop direct reports (as required).
- · Build strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships to ensure policy compliance.
- · Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO, ESOS, CSR, GDP, etc.).
Profile
A successful Strategic Procurement Manager should have:
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes within the retail industry.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- The ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment, with both office and remote work.
Job Offer

- Salary of £55,000 - £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
