We are seeking an experienced Director to lead major client accounts, generate new business, and help shape the strategic direction of a growing public affairs consultancy. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded public affairs professional with strong political judgement, an established network, and a proven track record of delivering growth.

Description

  • Lead and grow a portfolio of high-value client accounts, acting as a trusted senior adviser to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies on complex political, policy, and regulatory issues.
  • Support agency growth through business development, networking, pitching, and converting new client opportunities.
  • Contribute to the firm's long-term strategy, helping shape service offerings, market positioning, and operational priorities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop consultants and junior team members, creating clear career development pathways and maintaining high standards of delivery.

Profile

  • Significant experience within public affairs consultancy, corporate affairs, government relations.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing major client relationships while delivering strategic public affairs campaigns.
  • Demonstrable business development experience, including winning new business, developing networks, and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of UK politics, Whitehall, parliament, regulatory processes, and the wider public affairs landscape.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and team development skills.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from Β£80,000 - Β£90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Senior-level responsibilities in a permanent position.
