Job Description

To assist the Merchandiser on a day-to-day basis through effective planning, managing the supply base, re-forecasting sales and intake and ensuring optimum range availability.

A great opportunity for a Merchandise Assistant / Assistant Merchandiser to join a business in their North Wales office. The business has gone from strength to strength over the last few years. Description

  • Creating and amending all purchase orders
  • To manage the delivery schedule in line with stock and intake targets. Sending delivery dates of launch products to the wider business
  • Assist in Monday trade sales analysis through report running and document creation.Update weekly and daily trackers
  • Monitoring trading performance and identify opportunities as well as risks
  • Size ratio analysis to ensure new orders and restock sizing is maximised.
  • Support the Merchandiser with excel reporting and preparation, analysis, data entry and general administrative duties.
  • Updating line cards to assist the Merchandiser in managing 'Core' products stock and sales forecasts as well as ad hoc analysis as required by the department
  • Awareness of our customer, and fast and slow sellers
  • Undertaking competitor analysis
  • Support the Ecommerce / Marketing team with frequent site reviews, ensuring products are effectively categorised and visually merchandised to maximise sell through.
  • Work with marketing and other channels to identify key selling lines and identify promotional activity to maximise sales

Profile

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and a numbers thinker
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be working with a range of colleagues and prospective employees at all levels
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage your own time
  • Previous experience within a retail / brand head office
