Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards, specifically US GAAP.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accountancy qualification eg ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations, specifically US GAAP - this is a non negotiable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a temporary role within a fast-paced environment.

  • Daily rate between £300 and £350, depending on experience.
