Description

The Interim Legal Counsel will be:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Advising on a range of research agreements and collaborations
  • Supporting key stakeholders across academic and professional services teams
  • Providing pragmatic, solutions‐focused legal advice
  • Managing contractual risk and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assisting with ad‐hoc legal matters as they arise
  • Working closely with the wider legal and procurement teams

Profile

The Interim Legal Counsel should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with relevant PQE
  • Experienced in higher education legal work
  • Strong in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Familiar with research agreements and collaboration arrangements
  • Able to work independently in a fast‐paced environment
  • Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
