Working within a specialist regulatory team, you will advise clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters including health and safety, environmental law, fire safety and product compliance.

Description
The Regulatory Solicitor will be:
- Advising clients on the regulatory aspects of mergers, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures
- Conducting regulatory due diligence and drafting contractual provisions
- Working with clients on contentious regulatory matters including environmental and health and safety cases
- Assisting with investigations, enforcement proceedings and trial preparation
- Advising clients on fire safety legislation, compliance obligations and enforcement action
- Working with manufacturers, importers and distributors on product safety and compliance matters
- Assisting clients with product recalls and remedial action programmes
- Managing a varied caseload while delivering commercially focused legal advice
- Building strong relationships with clients across a range of sectors
Profile
The Regulatory Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor qualified in England and Wales with circa 1 to 2 years' PQE
- Experienced in regulatory, litigation or contentious legal work
- Able to demonstrate strong drafting and analytical skills
- Interested in developing expertise across environmental, health and safety and product compliance matters
- A strong communicator with excellent client relationship skills
Job Offer
