Description
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Supporting procurement teams with contract negotiations and supplier arrangements
- Advising on data protection matters including data processing and cross border transfers
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Enhancing and streamlining contracting processes and frameworks
- Working closely with risk, compliance and information security teams
- Providing proactive, business focused legal advice to support decision making
- Identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks
- Supporting the development of colleagues within the procurement function
Profile
- A solicitor or equivalent with 2 years PQE or above
- Experienced in commercial contracts including technology or procurement agreements
- Knowledgeable in contract law, data protection and risk management
- Able to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice
- Confident managing workload and prioritising effectively in a fast paced environment
- A strong communicator with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Collaborative, proactive and able to work autonomously
- Professional and capable of handling sensitive matters
