An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded specialist disputes practice in Newcastle upon Tyne. Working alongside recognised Partners, you will advise on complex commercial disputes for financial services clients, landowners and corporate organisations, with exposure to high value national and international matters.

Description

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters
  • Advising clients on high value corporate and commercial disputes
  • Handling shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Acting on complex banking and financial services litigation matters
  • Advising on contentious probate claims
  • Managing disputes involving landowners, developers and corporate clients
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documentation
  • Attending mediation, negotiations and court hearings
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Working with senior lawyers on large scale national and international disputes

Profile

  • A solicitor between 1 and 6 years PQE
  • Experienced in commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters
  • Comfortable managing files with appropriate supervision
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • An excellent communicator with strong drafting abilities
  • Keen to develop within a specialist boutique litigation practice
