Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to join a leading international law firm on an interim basis.

Client Details

The team advises a broad range of clients across the infrastructure, real estate, energy, transport, housing and development sectors on complex and high-value construction projects throughout the UK and internationally.

Description

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction documentation, including:

  • JCT and NEC contracts
  • Professional appointments
  • Collateral warranties
  • Development and funding agreements
  • Security documentation and related project agreements
  • Advising clients on procurement strategies and project delivery structures
  • Supporting major development, infrastructure and regeneration projects
  • Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
  • Providing commercially focused risk assessment and contract management advice

Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
  • Proven experience within a recognised construction practice
  • Strong background in non-contentious construction matters
  • Comfortable handling matters autonomously while collaborating with wider project teams
  • Excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills
  • Available to commence an assignment in the near term
