Description
We are looking to find a lawyer for specialist in-house team focused on some of the most significant building safety and construction issues currently facing the residential real estate sector.
This is far more than a traditional construction role.
You’ll advise on
- Major developer-led and government-funded remediation projects
- Building Safety Act issues and emerging legislation
- Complex claims against developers, contractors and warranty providers
- Construction contracts, funding agreements and warranties
- High-value disputes working alongside leading external counsel
- Profile
- A successful In-House Counsel – Construction and Building Safety should have:
- A strong legal background with expertise in construction and building safety law.
- Qualified solicitor status or equivalent legal qualifications.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
- Excellent knowledge of the property industry and related regulatory frameworks.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
