Description
We are looking to find a lawyer for specialist in-house team focused on some of the most significant construction issues currently facing the residential real estate sector.
This is far more than a traditional construction role.
You'll advise on:
- Construction contracts, funding agreements and warranties
- Major developer-led and government-funded remediation projects
- Building Safety Act issues and emerging legislation
- Complex & high value claims against developers, contractors and warranty providers
Profile
A successful In-House Counsel - Construction should have:
- Qualified solicitor status or equivalent legal qualifications.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents within the construction industry.
- Experience advising stakeholders on issues relating to the Building Safety Act.
- Excellent knowledge of the property & construction industry and related regulatory frameworks.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide clear, concise legal advice.
