Well-known multi-national Corporate & Investment Bank in their search for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join their team. Operating out of the London office on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in office), you will support on a wide variety of infrastructure and operational projects within a collaborative team.

Description
- Advising on a variety of English law matters including commercial contracts, outsourcing, procurement, professional services, and intra‐group arrangements.
- Supporting digital and technology initiatives, including cloud services, AI‐enabled solutions, data and information platforms, and internal governance processes.
- Supporting M&A advisory mandates and corporate transactions.
- Handling company secretarial matters for UK entities.
- Managing regulatory advisory, frameworks, and new developments.
Profile
Essential requirements:
- UK‐qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a current practising certificate.
- 4 - 10 years' post‐qualification experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in‐house within financial services or banking.
- Strong grounding in commercial and corporate legal matters, including advisory.
- Excellent legal analysis, drafting and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
Desirable:
- Prior in‐house banking experience.
- Exposure to digital, technology or outsourcing projects.
