Client Details This role is with a company in the retail industry based in Plymouth. Description Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters. Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Support dispute resolution and manage any legal claims. Advise on intellectual property, data protection and employment law issues. Work closely with internal departments to address legal concerns. Assist with corporate governance and company secretarial matters. Keep the business updated on changes in legislation affecting the retail sector. Profile A successful in-house lawyer should have: Qualified legal professional status (e., solicitor or barrister). Experience in commercial law and contract negotiation. Knowledge of regulatory compliance within the retail industry. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Clear and effective communication abilities.
