Our client is looking to hire a Commercial Solicitor to join their award winning team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior to mid level lawyer to join a large team who advise clients across the public and private sector.
Client Details: Our client is known as a global legal firm with a great reputation. The firm has a large full service office in Leeds and their commercial team is ranked by the legal directories for Yorkshire. The firm offers great training and prospects for the successful candidate.
Description: The Commercial Solicitor will get involved in a range of work including:
- Providing legal advice on a range of commercial matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
- Working on major outsourcing and supply chain contracts.
- Working closely with Partners and senior fee earners on large projects.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with clients in a range of sectors including transport and utilities.
Profile: The successful Commercial Solicitor should have / be:
- A solicitor likely to be around 1-6 years PQE.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial law and contract drafting.
- A background from a strong private practice law firm or In-house.
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
- Strong academics.
- Ties to Leeds.
- A client-focused approach.
Job Offer: Salary ranging from £68,000 to £85,000. Generous pension contribution of 5%. Bonus opportunities of up to 20%. 25 days of holiday leave. Private healthcare provided. Hybrid working arrangement for better work-life balance.
