Banking Solicitor in Leeds

Our client is looking to recruit a Banking Solicitor in Leeds to work on a wide range of banking transactions including acquisition and real estate finance, project and infrastructure deals acting for global banks, funds, private equity houses and corporates across the UK.

The client is a global legal firm with a large office in central Leeds. They have a large Banking practice across the UK and a growing team in Yorkshire. The firm offer a highly competitive salary alongside great prospects.

Description

The Banking Solicitor will be:

• Working on a broad range of banking transactions: acquisition finance, real estate finance, project & infrastructure finance.
• Advising a mix of clients including global financial institutions, private equity houses, funds and corporates.
• Handling complex domestic and cross-border financing deals.
• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing finance documentation (loan agreements, security docs, facility agreements, security packages, project documentation, etc.).
• Conducting due diligence and risk assessments on financing and security structures.
• Managing relationships with clients and external advisors.
• Working with senior lawyers and partners on high-value deals.
• Contributing to business development and pitch work where appropriate.

Profile

The Banking Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor with 1-5 years PQE in banking/finance law.
• Experienced in acquisition finance, real estate finance or project/infrastructure finance.
• Comfortable working on both domestic and cross-border deals.
• Strong communicator with good client relationship skills.
• Ties to Leeds

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.
