Description
The Interim Assistant Company Secretary/ Co-Sec Consultant will report into the Group Company Secretary but will be expected to be fairly autonomous in their support of the board and committee meeting cycle.
You will take the lead on preparation and will be expected to
- Provide support for board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
- Assist in maintaining statutory records and filings.
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on governance matters.
- Manage and maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and recommend necessary actions.
- Provide general administrative support to the C-Suite team - high level board exposure and interaction.
- Profile
- A successful Interim Assistant Company Secretary/ Co-Sec Consultant should have:
- Experience in company secretarial or corporate governance roles within a private sector setting
- Excellent meeting management experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and minuting.
- Good knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally CGI qualified/part qualified.

- Temporary role with a base in York but a very hybrid approach - so long as you can commit to attendance at the meeting cycle.
