As an In-house Housing Solicitor, you'll handle a variety of legal matters, focusing on anti-social behaviour and tenancy management within the not-for-profit sector. Your role will involve providing expert legal advice, supporting the organisation's efforts to manage tenancies effectively and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Description The In-house Housing Solicitor will be: Managing a varied caseload of housing management matters, including anti-social behaviour litigation. Advising internal stakeholders on tenancy enforcement, possession proceedings and housing law issues. Representing the organisation in legal proceedings and working closely with external counsel where required. Supporting operational teams with proactive legal advice to minimise risk and ensure regulatory compliance. Assisting with the development of policies, procedures and best practice across housing management functions. Profile The In-house Housing Solicitor should be: A solicitor or equivalent with ideally 2+ years' PQE in housing litigation and housing management matters. Experienced in anti-social behaviour injunctions, possession proceedings and tenancy enforcement. Knowledgeable in housing law, relevant legislation and court procedures. Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice. An excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Able to manage a busy caseload independently while working collaboratively within a wider team.
