An opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer or established Knowledge Lawyer to support a high-performing corporate team. This role focuses on knowledge development, training and legal technology, helping to enhance delivery across complex transactional Corporate M&A work.

The role involves recruiting a forward-thinking Knowledge Lawyer to support a leading corporate practice. Working closely with the senior Knowledge Lawyer and reporting to the Corporate Practice Group Head, you will play a central role in supporting transactional and advisory work across the team.

Your focus will include mid-market M&A, corporate restructurings, governance and general corporate matters. Alongside your legal expertise, you will play a key role in embedding legal technology and AI tools, helping to drive efficiency, consistency and innovation across the practice.

This position offers the opportunity to influence how knowledge is created, shared and applied, while promoting best practice and improving client outcomes. The firm operates a flexible hybrid working model, with a minimum office presence each week.

Key responsibilities
  • Draft and maintain precedents, templates and guidance notes
  • Monitor legal developments and share insights internally and externally
  • Advise lawyers on technical legal queries and market practice
  • Act as a sounding board for complex legal and transactional issues
  • Maintain and develop knowledge repositories and encourage contributions
  • Identify training needs across all levels of the team
  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes
  • Support trainee development and onboarding of new joiners
  • Produce high-quality training materials and resources
  • Manage and support the team's Learning & Development plan
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on corporate law matters
  • Support business development initiatives and client-facing content
  • Contribute to client training and thought leadership
  • Assist with strategy planning and practice group initiatives
