An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transaction Manager at VP level to join a dynamic Fixed Income and Structured Solutions team based in London.

5+ years' experience as a qualified Solicitor or strong Paralegal within the debt capital markets arena.

Description

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end documentation process across debt capital markets transactions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to trading and origination teams, offering practical guidance on legal and structural considerations.
  • Lead interaction with internal stakeholders across multiple regions, as well as external counsel, trustees and service providers.
  • Manage documentation for structured note programmes, including repackaging transactions and issuance through SPV platforms.
  • Oversee updates and maintenance of issuance programmes where the firm acts as arranger or dealer.
  • Work closely with operations and settlement teams to facilitate smooth closings and post-trade processes.
  • Provide additional support on private placements and syndicated debt transactions when required.

Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with approximately 5+ years' experience, or equivalent transaction management Paralegal background.
  • Strong experience within debt capital markets, gained either in-house at a financial institution or within private practice.
  • Familiarity with documentation for MTN programmes, syndicated issuance, and structured products.
  • Confident managing multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent drafting skills with strong attention to detail.

Job Offer

  • Base salary up to £120,000 annual equivalent depending on candidate experience.
  • Hybrid working in London (3 days per week in office).
