Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance Governance
- Maintain compliance framework covering:
- Data protection (UK GDPR, DPA, PECR)
- Consumer protection (DMCCA)
- Advertising compliance (ASA/CAP)
- Fraud prevention requirements
- Ensure business practices, policies, and customer interactions meet regulatory standards
- Provide clear, commercially minded, pragmatic compliance guidance
- Privacy Data Protection
- Own the organisation's data protection framework and policies
- Ensure all uses of personal data are lawful, transparent, and compliant
- Oversee Subject Access Requests (SARs), law enforcement data requests and data breach reporting
- Advise on privacy risks across business and marketing activity
- Consumer Protection Marketing Compliance
- Ensure compliance with DMCCA and ASA/CAP Code
