Description

Reporting to the Head of Legal UK, this role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including services, consultancy, confidentiality and collaboration arrangements.
  • Manage a range of contentious matters, including medical claims, complaints, litigation, inquests and dispute resolution.
  • Advise the business on legal and commercial risk, providing practical recommendations and supporting compliant decision-making.
  • Provide legal support on pharmaceutical matters, including agreements, compliance requirements, conflicts of interest and associated risks.
  • Advise on data privacy, including UK GDPR, data sharing, confidentiality and privacy risk assessments.

Profile

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • A qualified solicitor in the UK or other relevant jurisdiction
  • Experience in handling legal matters within the life science industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience of handling disputes & litigation would be highly beneficial
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
