An established London law firm is seeking a Family Paralegal to join its highly regarded team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will support lawyers on a broad range of complex family matters, acting for high-net-worth individuals and families across both contentious and non-contentious work.

Description
- Assist fee earners and partners on a broad range of family law matters
- Support cases involving divorce and financial remedy proceedings
- Assist with private children matters and related applications
- Prepare legal documents, court bundles, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
- Liaise with clients, barristers, experts, and third parties
- Manage document review and disclosure exercises
- Assist with mediation, arbitration, and negotiated settlements
- Maintain accurate matter records and case management systems
- Support business development and client relationship activities
- Attend meetings, hearings, and client appointments where required
- Manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Provide general administrative and legal support to the Family team
Profile
- Previous experience as a Family Paralegal is essential
- Strong understanding of family law procedures and processes
- Experience supporting financial and/or children matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload effectively
- High level of attention to detail
- Professional and client-focused approach
